8:30pm rolls around after a mediocre/fair Friday and I was fucking
exhausted! I was ready for bed, checked out. I wanted a little snack
before bed, that turned in to a movie ("Auto Focus" w/ Greg Kinnear
about how Bob Crane's dick ruined his life, it was pretty good but such
a downer.), and by the time I had reached the end of the movie I was all
lit and ready to rock and roll! I made some nachos, I fixed the sink, I
mopped the fucking floor, I found the weed-whacker out in the garage, I
went to fucking town, dude. What the fuck was I doing in town at
midnight, anyway? Fuck if I know.

(The week-whacker's kind of a funny story:
Leslie: We should ask Jim to borrow his edger.
Me: We've got a weed-whacker. At least, we did.
Leslie: We do?
Me: Sure we do. I saw the mount that came with it, out in the
garage when I was cleaning up there, today, so I know I didn't imagine
it. But I wonder where the weed-whacker, itself went...
Leslie: Really?
Me: Yep...

So, this has been a constant drain on my subconcious, disrupting my
purity of essence and shit. (huh-huh, I crack me up.) finally I got a
bug up my ass, tonight after midnight. So, during a commercial break
from "Modern Marvels: Garage Gadgets" I walked out into the garage and
took a look at that goddam whacker mount. Know what I saw? The fucking
weed whacker hanging on the goddam mount. Poor blind Charlie!)
