Japanese Garden - Portland, Oregon

What a great time I had, today! We took a friend of Leslie's to the Japanese Gardens, today. And then, AND THEN, they left me there to take pictures for 2 hours!!! Yeah, ALL BY MYSELF! WITHOUT KIDS OR QUESTIONS OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT! What fun! I took 6 dozen pictures of waterfalls, moss, Buddha, lichen, streams, and trees and stuff.

I've been thinking about figuring out a way to persuade Leslie that we ought to shell out the $60/yr for a family membership to the gardens. It really is a beautiful place! Check out the pics @ their website, and I should have some posted up here soon, too.

One time, I saw this website called "Flckr.com". It was right after band camp.

They host pictures and stuff. Like, you can post your pictures and people can see your pictures and stuff.

Watch your angle when taking pictures. Shooting downhill or uphill is often distracting to the viewer.
