When I returned their call, I was curious which of us was going to "dump" the other first. Would I be put in that position or would they accept that role.

I'm a puss: I was glad they took that role.

I'm happy enough.

I had another phone interview that didn't REALLY go anywhere, yesterday, so I'm just ploughing through the numbers. If it's going to take going through X number of interviews, then I'm ploughing through them in an attempt to hit X ASAP while still retaining my goals of a fun, profitable job.
